Poland takes over EU presidency
BRUSSELS, 4th January, 2025 (WAM) -- Poland launched its presidency of the Council of the European Union on Friday with a ceremony at the National Theatre in Warsaw, attended by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and European Council President Antonio Costa.
In his remarks, Costa described Poland as "a cornerstone of European defence, a crucial pillar of the Single Market, and an innovative and blooming economy."<
