That about sums up how excited I was to visit the new Carmela Ice Cream that opened about a month ago on Third Street in Los Angeles. It's not like I haven't had Carmela's about a million times between their stand at the South Pasadena Farmer's Market and their flagship store on Washington. Nevertheless, I just couldn't resist visiting the new location...and eating some of my favorite ice cream.I'm so in love with Carmela's Honey Vanilla Lavender in fact that I even attended one of their many ice cream making classes just to have the recipe. Let me tell you, it's dangerous knowledge to possess.Enough about my love for this ice cream already and onto what makes it so great.
