Crews battle fire at building in Midtown Manhattan: FDNY
MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Three people were injured after a fire broke out at a building near Times Square Sunday evening, according to the FDNY.
The fire was reported at 255 West 43rd Street at around 5:40 p.m.
78 Fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene. Crews were able to get the third-floor fire under control at 6:45 p.m., officials say.
The three civilians sustained minor injuries. Two were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
