What were the rewards won by Arshad Nadeem?
Arshad was awarded a prize of $50,000, equivalent to approximately 42 lakh INR or 14 million PKR. In addition, the Punjab government announced a reward of 100 million PKR, while the Governor of Punjab, Sardar Salim Haider Khan, has pledged an additional 2 million PKR. The Chief Minister of Sindh and the Mayor of Karachi have jointly committed 50 million PKR, and Sindh’s Governor, Kamran Tessori, will contribute another 1 million PKR.
His current net worth stands at 154 million PKR with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz handing him a cheque of 10 million PKR and the car keys when she visited Nadeem’s village in Mian Chunnu. The new car has a special number plate of 92.97 which is the distance he threw to set a new Olympic record while winning gold in Paris on August 8.
