'School of Rock' Cast Reunites for Stars' Wedding
School of Rock made rockstars out of a group of young actors in Richard Linklater's 2003 film. But for stars Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, it was much more, as it marked the beginning of their long relationship.
Hale and Massagli tied the knot over the weekend surrounded by friends and family, including many of their School of Rock co-stars they shared the screen with more than two decades ago. On Jan. 5, film star Rivkah Reyes shared a video on TikTok of the reception as she, Brian Falduto, Joey Gaydos Jr., Robert Tsai, Maryam Hassan, Aleisha Allen, and Cole Hawkins danced the night away. The video was set to Stevie Knicks' "Edge of Seventeen," a nod to Joan Cusack's character drunkenly singing the classic rock hit in the movie.

Jack Black, who played the guitarist-turned-teacher in the beloved movie, wasn't at the ceremony, but he holds a special place in his heart for his younger co-stars. In a 2022 interview with Entertainment Weekly, the A Minecraft Movie star gushed about his experience on the film, going so far as to call it the best role of his life.
"My best memories are just that group of kids, and how funny and great they were," he said. "It's definitely the highlight of my career, I can say that. Honestly."

School of Rock went on to inspire a stage musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and a TV series that ran for three seasons. Both the School of Rock movie and series are streaming now on Paramount+.
