M&S hails "good" Christmas as heartland categories boom, but pockets of weakness remain

​M&S on Thursday reported positive festive trading figures and while they weren’t spectacular for fashion and beauty, it was clear that the company didn’t face the malaise affecting much of UK discretionary retail.
