Lafayette man charged with 8 counts of attempted murder in Crowley

CROWLEY, La. (KLFY) -- A Lafayette man was arrested in Crowley and charged with eight counts of attempted murder, authorities said.
Allen White III, 19, of Lafayette, is charged with eight counts of attempted first degree murder and one count of resisting an officer.
Crowley Police said White was involved in a shooting Sept. 15 in a newly built home. White and several other suspects were captured on surveillance footage, officials said.
White was arrested Monday and transferred to the Acadia Parish jail where he is being held on $150,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
