The forest department confirmed that CCTV footage captured the leopard on the campus at approximately 2 a.m. Deputy Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), IB Prabhu Gowda, shared, “The leopard was seen on CCTV around 2 a.m. Our team reached the location by 4 a.m. and immediately initiated a combing operation.” Despite efforts, the leopard remained elusive at the time of reporting.
