Church Point man accused of possession of child porn

CHURCH POINT, La. (KLFY) -- A Church Point man is accused of possessing child pornography, authorities said.
Jacoby Jamal Recard, 37, of Church Point, is charged with six counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.
Agents with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to the Louisiana Attorney General's Office.
This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, Union Pacific Police Department, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office, officials said.
Recard was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail. His bond information was not released.
The investigation is ongoing, officials said.
