Although he didn’t disclose who it was, he revealed that the incident had shook up the cast and caused a behind-the-scenes feud.
Explaining the incident, he told us: “So basically what happened was, it was just the way one of the lads approached the situation, with my fiancee, the way he spoke to her.
“But he’s known for not speaking to girls very nicely.
“And I was just like ‘I’m not having it’.”
“But luckily she can stand up for herself and she handled the situation amazingly.”
He then added: “But partners are off bounds [on the show].”
The couple have been together since January 2022 after meeting during a night out in Newcastle.
Loved-up James asked Leah to marry him last year whilst filming All Star Shore in Thailand.
He told his wife-to-be: “You’re my best friend my soulmate you bring out the best version of me and you make me so happy everyday you’re the person I want to marry you’re going to be the mother to our kids will you marry us?
“You make me so happy and the best version of myself.”
Leah was over-the-moon with the proposal and wasted no time in saying yes.
James confessed that seeing co-stars like Charlotte Crosby and Holly Hagan getting married and having babies had inspired him to pop the question.
He told new! magazine: “Being around the girls and seeing them having families, I’m heading into that era now.
“I’m looking forward to having kids and being a dad, whereas before I was like, ‘Absolutely not’. 2025 is when I’d like to be a dad.”
Meanwhile, James previously expressed his concern over the future of doing another series of All Star Shore after multiple behind-the-scenes fallouts.
He told us: “It’s all still up in the air so I hear.
“There’s been a lot of people who have unfollowed each other on Instagram, so that’s when you know it’s serious.
“Obviously it’s just going to take a face to face, getting them back together in the same room and it should be sorted out.”
He then joked: “We’ll just get rid of any like sharp objects and anything that can be thrown…
“I’m sure they will sort it out!”
