The 1923 Battock’s Queen’s Park Rangers Card 

Some years ago, I managed to pick up this very rare Battock’s card, for what turned out to be a real bargain, as I recently saw one on offer for £95.00! 

The back of the card reads as follows: ‘Battock’s Football and Jersey Cards. Our Footballs and Jerseys are easy to win (see window bills).

I came across further information on the excellent website: ‘1920’s Heaven (Football Trade Cards of the 1920’s), which stated that 109 cards are known about. 

There are a few cards available on Ebay, which included at the time, the likes of; Southampton, Arsenal, Walsall and Merthyr Town.
