Aldi to sell £1.99 gadget in stores that keep homes warm without putting heating on

0

ALDI will begin selling a £1.99 gadget in stores that can help keep homes warm without putting the heating on.

The German discounter will once again stock its draught excluders, as part of its Special Buys range.

Aldi is selling a tool which can help keep homes warm without putting the heating on

The tool, which helps protects your home against the cold, was last in stock back in October.

The Workzone Double Draught Excluder lines the gaps between your door and prevents draughts.

Heat often escapes through gaps at the bottom of doors and can drastically change the temperature of a room.

Aldi said the product “protects your home against the cold, wind and dust this year by keeping the draught out.”

“Making small changes to your home like this will help to save you money on those rising energy bills,” the description added.

It is available to buy for £1.99 and will be in stores tomorrow, Sunday, January 12.

The product is part of Aldi’s Special Buy range, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.

It is also one of the cheaper draught excluders on the market.

Dunelm is currently selling a similar item for £9, while Amazon is charging almost £10.

It is just one of many cost-effective heating gadgets Aldi is stocking this weekend.

It will also bring back its Superfoil Radiator Reflector, which costs just £9.99.

This is designed to make your radiators more efficient by reducing heat loss and ensuring your home stays warmer for longer.

Available in-store only, this nifty device is a must-have for those looking to save on their heating costs this winter.

The Superfoil Radiator Reflector is a heat-saving product that fits behind your radiators to reflect warmth back into your room, rather than letting it escape through the walls.

Aldi claims it can cut heat loss by an impressive 86 per cent, making it a savvy choice for households trying to stay warm without cranking up the thermostat.

It’s also super easy to install. The reflector comes with built-in adhesive strips, so there’s no need for extra tools or complicated instructions.

Just cut it to fit your radiator, stick it on, and you’re good to go.

The product can be used on up to three radiators, making it a budget-friendly solution for any home.

ALDI WINTER WARMERS

With temperatures dropping, Aldi has a number of gadgets that should help keep you warm.

This weekend the discounter will also bring back its £7 long hot water bottle that can warp around your body.

The bottles are designed to stretch the length of your body, keeping everything from your elbows to your toes snug and cosy.

They come with soft, comfortable covers in four stylish colours: purple, blue, brown, and grey.

Aldi is also stocking fleece-lined slipper socks for just £3.99.

If you’re hoping to tackle a draught in your home without breaking the bank, Aldi is currently offering a Draught Excluder from Kirkton House for just £5.99.

Available in four designs, the product is designed to be placed inside your door to prevent cold air from blowing in.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
