The State CID has booked seven individuals under MCOCA for the murder of Massajog sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh, who was allegedly killed for opposing an extortion bid on a wind turbine company. Notably, three of the accused are associated with the NCP, leading to calls for Minister Dhananjay Munde's resignation amid ongoing investigations.
