Wrong-way driver crashes into CTA bus in Loop injuring 3
Charges were pending after a wrong-way driver crashed into a CTA bus early Monday, injuring three people in the Loop.
Around 12:05 a.m., a Jeep going the wrong way in the 300 block of South Dearborn Street hir a CTA bus and parked vehicle before coming to a stop, Chicago police said.
The driver and passenger of the Jeep suffered "minor" injuries and were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where they were in good condition, police said.
The CTA bus driver was taken to Stroger Hospital with injuries considered to be minor and was in good condition, officials said. There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the accident.
The Jeep driver was placed into custody and charges were pending.
