Albany Marching Falcons perform at State of the State
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Some local musicians put their talent on display Tuesday at the 2025 State of the State Address. The Albany Marching Falcons were the opening act ahead of Gov. Kathy Hochul's speech.
They performed multiple songs, including "Eye of the Tiger." The band is open to Albany City School District students in grades 6-12.
This is not the first time the band played in front of a large audience. They performed in France in June 2024 to commemorate 80 years since D-Day. Many students brought photos of loved ones who served in World War II as a way to honor them on the trip.
