Gucci Spotlights Sneaker Range With New Installation at Soho Boutique

0

Gucci is putting the spotlight on its sneaker category.

According to the Italian luxury brand, it has opened a new sneaker pop-in installation inside of its Wooster Street boutique in SoHo.

The company noted in a statement that the installation highlights its men’s and women’s sneaker offering and features unique displays and furniture in a florescent pink that aims to blend seamlessly with the contemporary design elements seen throughout the Wooster Street space.

Key sneaker styles featured in the installation include the Gucci Cub3d, Re-Web, G74, Julia, Screener and more.

One of the newest models on offer is the Gucci Cub3d sneaker, which debuted as part of the spring/summer 2025 men’s runway collection. The shape, which took inspiration from the version presented by Gucci creative director Sabato De Sarno for Milano Design Week, “reflects the spirit of innovation that has characterized Gucci since its founding,” the company noted.

The Gucci Cub3d’s upper is crafted mainly of Demetra, an innovative material from the House made from 70 percent plant-based raw materials as well as a molded sole featuring the interlocking ‘G’ with a three-dimensional effect all around. The sneaker comes in an assortment of colors including purple, beige, grey, white and black.

Also highlighted in the installation is the Gucci Re-Web sneaker. The low-top silhouette pays homage to Gucci’s heritage stripes with a contemporary touch and was the first sneaker envisioned by De Sarno for the House. The Re-Web comes in an assortment of materials and colors including an all-leather construction as well as mixes of leather with the iconic GG canvas, merino wool-effect fabric, crystal applique, patent leather trim and more.

Gucci’s new Wooster Street sneaker installation runs between Jan. 16 and Feb. 17.

The company noted that the Wooster Street pop-in is exclusive to the U.S., but similar sneaker installations will be rolling out in Milan, London, Paris, Tokyo and Chengdu.
