Jenna Dewan Revealed Her ‘Fashionista’ Daughter Everly Wore Only One Color for an Entire Year

To be a fashionista is to be a stylish person who isn’t afraid to take risks with their looks; and Jenna Dewan’s eldest daughter Everly is already getting that! In fact, Dewan revealed that she and Channing Tatum’s daughter even wore only one color for an entire year, and if that doesn’t scream style icon in the making, we don’t know what does.

In case you missed it, earlier this week, Dewan told People that her daughter is a “fashionista,” saying, “She wore all purple for an entire year, and I just let her…She’s always marching to the beat of her own drum.”

She committed to wearing only one color, only purple for an entire year? Honestly, that’s pretty iconic. But Dewan said she’s officially moved away from the monochromatic trend into something else entirely.

“Now she’s really into … what does she call it? Softie schoolgirl? It’s a ‘thing,’ ” she said. “She likes that sort of preppy, but with a dash of Blackpink, if that makes sense. She’s very into that stuff.”

For those who don’t know, Dewan and her ex-husband Channing Tatum welcomed a daughter named Everly, born on May 31, 2013. Dewan and her fiancé Steve Kazee welcomed their son Callum, born on March 6, 2020. Then, on June 2024, she and Kazee welcomed their daughter named Rhiannon Lee.

In a previous interview with SheKnows, Dewan talked about how it’s “huge” for her to teach her kids about channeling their emotions, and boundaries.

She said she reminds them, “You are in control of yourself and your body. You get to say no.” She added, “Facilitating and supporting [those passions] creates so much self-esteem and confidence. That’s what dance was for me as a kid, and it helped me channel my emotion.”
