Melissa Joan Hart Set to Star In & Executive Produce New Lifetime Thiller, Details & Premiere Date Revealed
Melissa Joan Hart is adding another Lifetime movie to her resume!
The 48-year-old actress will star in and executive produce a new thriller titled Killing the Competition, The Wrap unveils.
Melissa has starred in about a dozen Lifetime movies over the past decade, including several Christmas movies, and this continues her partnership with the network.

In the upcoming thriller, Melissa stars as “Elizabeth Fenwick, a loving mother in her 40s who becomes enraged after her daughter is cut from her alma mater’s dance team.”
The movie is inspired by actual events and follows “Elizabeth, who was once her high school’s star dancer and prom queen, as she and her husband, Steve, help craft a similar path for their daughter, Grace. When Grace doesn’t make the team, however, Elizabeth becomes obsessed with the star of the dance team, Hannah, and her mother Nicole, and eventually becomes involved in a shocking kidnapping plot.”
Also starring in the movie include Eddie Mills as Steve, Lily Brooks O’Briant as Grace, Valerie Loo as Hannah and Anzu Lawson as Nicole.
Killing the Competition will debut Saturday, March 1st at 8pm ET on Lifetime.
