Chilly start Friday before warming up this afternoon
What We’re Tracking
- Cold start Friday morning
- Nearing average this weekend
- Dry and mild week ahead
The winds from yesterday managed to back off through the night along with clear skies, we're off to a pretty cold start this morning. Temperatures are in the lower 10s and even single digits for some. A light south wind makes it feel near 0° if not sub zero.
Our southerly winds will pick up throughout the daytime and actually help warm us up. Highs will climb closer to average into the upper 30s and lower 40s with plenty of sunshine in store. Although it will be breezy, the south wind could gust as high as 25 mph.
Cloud cover moves in for Saturday, but despite that, highs remain in the upper 30s. As winds shift to the north for the weekend, we may take a minor setback Sunday with highs back in the middle 30s.
The end of January looks good with a warm-up back into the middle 40s by next week. Precipitation chances are slim to none until the end of next week.
