NFL Star's Home Robbed in Latest Pro Athlete Burglary
Since last fall, several NFL and NBA players have had their homes broken into and burgled in a string of robberies that has caught the attention of the FBI. Just last night, another pro athlete joined that unfortunate list.
According to a Roswell Police Department report obtained by TMZ, the home of Atlanta Falcons defensive back Antonio Hamilton Sr. was burglarized in the early morning hours of Jan. 24 while the player was out of town on vacation. Hamilton told authorities that his home security camera system captured the three criminals wreaking havoc on his place.
The police report states that the suspects broke into the house through a back door using a hammer or mallet and made out with a safe just a few minutes later. When cops arrived, they sent police dogs to try to track down the thieves but were unsuccessful, though they found the stolen safe containing "firearms and multiple expensive hand bags" near a fence on the property.

After the incident, Hamilton—who just so happens to be celebrating his 32nd birthday today—took to his Instagram Stories to allude to the incident using a Bible reference. "And since you don't know when that time will come, be on guard! Stay alert!" he wrote, noting the excerpt as Mark 13:33.

Hamilton joins a growing club of pro athletes who have had their homes ransacked in recent months, including Super Bowl champs Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, NBA star Luka Dončić, and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
