Josh O'Connor Talks James Bond Casting Rumors
Josh O’Connor is the latest actor to respond to rumors that he has been tapped to play James Bond in a new movie.
The 34-year-old Challengers star is one of many stars who have been floated as a potential choice to take over the role in a new 007 movie after Daniel Craig‘s departure following 2021′s No Time to Die.
An outlet even recently named Josh as the most likely candidate to take over the iconic mantle.
He weighed in on the idea during a recent interview.

“The truth is that … I think in the space of a week, I made a joke about, wouldn’t it be funny if I played Bond? Then, me and Daniel [Craig] did an Actors on Actors, and then something else happened, and then suddenly I was James Bond,” he said about how the rumor took flight.
Is there any truth to the rumor?
“If I am Bond, I don’t know about it,” Josh said.
Sam Heughan also recently opened up about whispers that he was in talks to land the iconic role.
Amid all of the casting rumors that are flying around, there was a worrying report about delays that are seriously holding up the next James Bond movie.
Daniel also revealed if he was interested in reprising the role.
