Harrison set to return to Leeds
It's becoming increasingly likely that Everton are going to terminate the loan spell of Jack Harrison, meaning a returns to Elland Road could be imminent, whether Leeds like it or not! The 28yo turncoat, like many others took full advantage of the clauses in his contract, to abandon the Whites in their hour of need. He's been with the Toffee's for 18 months now, but has endured a difficult season on the blue side of Merseyside.
Harrison is said to be 'shot of confidence'. He hasn't scored for almost a year, and is yet to make a worthwhile contribute this season in 1000 minutes of game time. Rules state that if he were to return to Leeds, Daniel Farke must integrate him back into the first team squad, which could cause friction and volatility within the ranks. I suppose the club could re-introduce him as a 'new player, just as they did with Adam forshaw.
Frankfurt want to renegotiate Kristensen deal
Eintracht Frankfurt are to renege on a €15m deal for Danish International wing-back Rasmus Kristensen, and instead, want to strike up a deal at a significantly lower price.
Despite his impressive campaign thus far, 'the Eagles' are having second thoughts about triggering Kristensen's activation clause. He's currently fourth in Dino Toppmöller's roster (four places above former Elland Road favourite Robin Roch), and has played a massive part in helping lift his side into third place in the Bundesliga.
According to media outlet Bild, Frankfurt are hoping to secure his services for a figure 'below €10m', raising questions about Leeds United's resolve. They are seen by many as being a soft touch, especially taking into account the indiscretions in many of the top players contracts, which still haunt the club today!
