Steven Gerrard axed by Al Ettifaq as Liverpool legend admits things ‘didn’t go the way we want’
STEVEN GERRARD has officially left Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq after 18 months.
The 44-year-old allegedly requested to leave earlier this week amid the club’s ongoing struggles in the Saudi Pro League.
His departure has now been confirmed by Al-Ettifaq officials.
