Alleged Vancouver bank robber charged with second heist in Battle Ground
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A jailed man accused of a Vancouver bank robbery in December is now being charged with a second bank robbery that happened earlier this month in Battle Ground.
Battle Ground police said 46-year-old Ryan Frisbie was charged with a bank robbery committed on January 10 at the IQ Credit Union at 1810 SW 9th Avenue in Battle Ground.
"Officers responded to the scene, but the suspect had already fled. Battle Ground Detectives gathered evidence, including surveillance footage, in an effort to identify the suspect," the Battle Ground Police Department said in a press release.
Last week, Frisbie was arrested by the Vancouver Police Department for allegedly committing a robbery at the Bank of America branch in Vancouver on Dec. 21 of last year.
On Thursday, Frisbie "was re-booked into the Clark County Jail on an additional count of Robbery" for the Jan. 10 incident, Battle Ground police said.
