The government will establish five National Centres of Excellence for skilling with global expertise to train youth for emerging sectors under the ‘Make In India’ initiative. This will include curriculum design, trainer training, and a skills certification framework. Additionally, 1000 ITIs will be upgraded, benefiting 2 million youth.
