Monster Hunter, Avowed and Like A Dragon make for an unmissable February
FEBRUARY might be the most packed month of the entire year, even with a number of notable game delays.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is delayed until March, but there are still a number of big-budget titles launching in February.
Whether you want an expansive open-world RPG or a sea-faring beat ‘em up adventure, there’s something for you.
Here’s a list of all the biggest games launching in February 2024.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
The sequel is bigger and better than the original[/caption]The sequel to the 2018 popular release, fans have waited almost seven years for a sequel.
It’s a first-person adventure RPG in a mediaeval setting, it is far more expansive than the original game.
You’ll have more options on how you play your character and what storylines you want to follow.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will be released on February 4 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered
Last year Lara Croft made her comeback with remasters of the first three games in the Tomb Raider series.
Putting a shiny new coat of paint on the classic series, the first bundle’s popularity has led to a second.
This set includes what is now known as The Darkness Trilogy.
It features Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness.
Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered will launch on February 14 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2
Trails Through Daybreak released just last year, but the sequel is already about to launch.
The series started in 1989, making it one of the longest running, but the games don’t get released in the West at the same time as in Japan.
In the long-running RPG series, Trails Through Daybreak 2 mixes engaging characters, an excellent storyline, and turn-based combat.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2 launches on February 14 for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch & PC.
Afterlove EP
From the team that developed the Coffee Talk series, Afterlove EP tells the story of someone learning to live again after losing their partner.
He tries to reconnect with his old friends, get a job, go to therapy, and find love again after a year of ignoring the world.
You plan out each day and who to reconnect with on your path through grief.
Afterlove EP releases on February 14 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch & PC.
Avowed
Avowed is all all-new action-RPG[/caption]Obsidian’s upcoming action-RPG Avowed, which mixes magic, melee, and firearms.
Players can choose from first- or third-person perspective, to further match combat to their playstyle.
Avowed isn’t a fully open world, but there are several large areas for you to explore.
Avowed will be released on February 18 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Lost Records: Bloom and Rage
Twenty seven years after spending a special summer together, four friends reunite and face their past.
The group try to keep their past secrets buried but need to confront what they promised not to speak of again.
From the team behind Life is Strange, we could see more from the gang in the future if this game is successful.
Lost Records: Bloom and Rage will launch on February 18 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, & PC.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
Majima is finally the protagonist of his own game[/caption]Telling the story of what happens to fan-favourite character Goro Majima between Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and the next mainline game, we see the Yakuza member become a pirate.
Washing up on the shores of Hawaii without his memories, Majima gets the help of a boy called Noah and a baby Tiger.
Take part in naval battles for the first time in a new Like a Dragon Gaiden adventure.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii launches on February 21 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S & PC.
Monster Hunter Wilds
People are thrilled to play the upcoming Monster Hunter[/caption]The sequel to 2018’s Monster Hunter World, and the next big entry in the series following Monster Hunter Rise, we have Monster Hunter Wilds.
Set in a gorgeous open world, you have to craft gear to take down monsters, which then give you more gear for fighting.
This upcoming entry has been highly anticipated, and fans can’t wait to get their hands on what will likely be the biggest game this month.
Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on February 28 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
