Bird flu scare: Rivers to begin livestock vaccination

The Rivers State Government said it would begin a one-week vaccination of livestock across the 23 local government areas of the state following suspected cases of anthrax disease, popularly known as bird flu. The State Commissioner for Agriculture, Victor Kii, disclosed this in a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Tuesday and sent to newsmen.
