Albany man arrested in child sex abuse image investigation
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- New York State Police reported the arrest of an Albany man after a sex crime investigation. Jahmeek Brown, 25, faces multiple felony charges.
According to state police, Brown is accused of having and sharing numerous images depicting the sexual abuse of children. He was taken into custody on January 29 after law enforcement executed a search warrant at his Albany home.
Brown was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. He was arraigned at Albany City Court before being remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
