APD identifies woman involved in deadly northwest Austin hit-and-run
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department identified a woman involved in a deadly hit-and-run that happened over the weekend in northwest Austin, the agency said in a news release Tuesday.
That woman was identified as Beth Wynne, according to police.
APD officers responded to the crash around 2:45 a.m., Jan. 31, which happened in the 13000 block of Pond Springs Road. Wynne was transported to the hospital and was pronounced dead on Feb. 1, police said.
According to police, the vehicle involved in the crash left the scene.
This is now being investigated as Austin's fifth crash of 2025, police said. The investigation remains on-going by police.
