The Republican playbook has always been the same. Cut taxes, deregulate, starve government, destroy public schools, weaken or remove social programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, weaken voter rights, destroy the power of unions or any collective processes of the majority, or more broadly to kill democracy. And now they have a quarterback who carries out the plays but the fact of the matter is that rightwing think tanks are calling the plays from the press box.
