Masked Singer’s Wolf ‘is 70s pop legend’ claim ITV viewers – NOT Wet Wet Wet star
THE Masked Singer fans are have ‘worked out the identity of Wolf and it’s a very surprise act.
Over the course of the last few weeks, viewers have been convinced that the hairy animal is Wet Wet Wet singer Marti Pellow.

The successful musician, 77, is best known for his hits Gonna Make You A Star and Hold Me Close, both made it to number one in the UK.
And now fans think they’ve recognised Wolf silky smooth voice and a reference to EastEnders.
David appeared on the BBC One show in 2011 and played Alfie Moon’s uncle Eddie.
One wrote: “Wolf = David Essex.”
A second posted: “Wolf is David Essex?, he was in EastEnders.”
A third said: “Wolf is David Essex,” a fourth echoed: “I think that Wolf is David Essex!”
While another viewer wrote: “At first, I thought that Wolf was David Essex, then Marti Pellow, and now I’m back to David Essex!“
The legendary singer has produced many hit songs over the years.
His first song that ranked on the charts was Rock On, which peaked at number 3 in the UK and number 5 in the US.
Other songs of David that topped the charts include Oh What a Circus, A Winter‘s Tale and Tahiti.
In 2018 David starred in the panto of Elf alongside EastEnders star Martine McCutcheon.
This isn’t the first time the singer has appeared in a stage production.
In 1978 he played the main character of Che in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Evita on the West End.
The names thrown out so far have included Richard E Grant, Tony Hadley, David Tennant, Mike Skinner, Hugh Jackman and Donny Osmond.
Meanwhile, fans of the hit reality show are convinced Wolf is Marti Pellow.
Taking to Reddit, one viewer pointed out: “They showed a photo of someone’s eyes, I know whose those eyes were and it ties in with my guess.
“The eyes are David Boreanaz, from Angel. Angel eyes was a song by Wet Wet Wet and Wolf is… Marti Pellow.”
A second penned: “It’s definitely Marti Pellow.”
In week 4, Wolf took to the stage to perform The Candy Man, with it also revealed that all the songs performed were clues.
Viewers were quick to share their thoughts on how they reckoned the hit was a nod to Wet, Wet, Wet’s song Sweet Little Mystery.
