Victims in fatal Colonie fire laid to rest

COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- It was a somber day for many in the Colonie community as three family members who died in a January house fire were laid to rest.

The funeral service for Lynne Lyons, her daughter Katelyn Ryan, and Katelyn's husband Timothy Ryan took place at the Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Colonie. The officer manager at the church previously told NEWS10 the family had been involved with the church for several years.

Neighbors and loved ones remembered all three for their generosity. Lynne was involved with the church's food pantry.

The family lived in Colonie for more than 40 years.
