danceScape Qigong/Tai Chi workshop is where you’ll apply ancient wisdom to modern living. Modified from our danceFLOW program, this unique class blends curated Qigong/Tai Chi exercises with inspirational world music, creating an experience that is both calming and invigorating.
You’ll benefit from seated, standing and breathing practices that improve balance and help manage stress and pain. As well as increase mobility and flexibility of the spine, shoulder, neck, knees and joints.
Qigong is an ancient Chinese discipline that merges meditation with gentle movements, promoting healing by circulating vital energy throughout your body. With roots in traditional Chinese medicine that span over four thousand years, Qigong emphasizes the cultivation of qi, or life force. By practicing rhythmic breathing alongside slow, mindful motions, you will allow qi to flow along your body’s meridian pathways, fostering a sense of tranquility and well-being.
As a cornerstone of both Tai Chi practice and martial arts techniques, Qigong harnesses the breath for energy mobilization, creating a harmonious balance within.
