Ryan Dorsey Addresses Rumors He Was Romantically Involved with Naya Rivera's Sister Nickayla

Ryan Dorsey is addressing the rumors that he was romantically involved with Naya Rivera‘s sister Nickayla.

Shortly after Naya‘s tragic death in July of 2020, Nickayla moved in with Ryan and her nephew Josey, who was 4 years old at the time.

Photos emerged in September 2020 that made fans suspicious that there might be something romantic between Nickayla and Ryan.

Ryan addressed the “holding hands” photo that emerged at that time, telling People, “The funny thing is, it did look like we were holding hands, but we grazed fingers on the escalator, and then it was this whole thing. That was the only time I’ve ever addressed anything on social media because it was just so insane.”

Some fans went as far to suggest that Ryan and Nickayla had nefarious intentions.

“People were tagging the FBI [in theories.] Just f—ing insane,” Ryan said.

“She was such a big help,” Ryan said about Nickayla after Naya‘s death. “I wanted to keep [Josey's] life somewhat normal, and I knew I was going to be out of town working. I had to go to Vancouver for five months and Josey came the last month to stay with me, but during the time I was gone she held it down and kept that consistency.”

“She served as somewhat of a female figure and helped be the other voice of reason. It was very surreal sometimes because the way she would say things to Josey would sound like his mom,” he shared.

Ryan also revealed the last words that Naya said to Josey, who is now 9.
