My friend John

John and I have been friends for over 30 years and have sat together in the Kop for ages. A few years ago we persuaded Geoff to join us as a STH (our other friend Tony has no interest in in sport but he and his wife go on a lot of cruises)

On NYE all our group were at our house and had a lovely evening, our friends leaving around 2am

John suffered a stroke at 8am on New Year’s Day but has fought hard and will hopefully return home this Friday. but still has a long way to go.

Tony and Gill have become friends with many of the crew on various cruise ships and asked their friends (the guitarist Paul is a Blues fan) to perform this for John- not sure what all the Americans on the Disney boat would have thought but I enjoyed it
