‘This man doesn’t give a s*** about players outside the top 10’ – Darts star hits out at chief over playing conditions
A DARTS star has hit out at the players association over substandard playing conditions at tournaments.
Multiple players criticised the venue but Mickey Mansell went further by slamming the Professional Darts Players Association (PDPA) chairman Peter Manley.
Former darts star Justin Pipe claimed Manley does not care about players outside the top ten following the cold conditions at venues in Wigan and Rosmalen this month.
He said: “Peter Manley is only going through the motions at the PDPA.
“The man only lines his own pockets and doesn’t give a s*** about players outside the top 10.
“Nothing will ever change. They just don’t care enough.”
Justin Hood and Daryl Gurney also voiced their dissatisfaction with the venue, suggesting players deserve better than to play in “freezing conditions”.
While Mansell made his feelings clear by criticising recent venues along with the PDPA.
He said: “As professional players, we shouldn’t have to worry about playing conditions.
“Unfortunately, last weekend in Wigan and now this week in Rosmalen, it just hasn’t been good enough.

“Same s***—PDPA says it’s PDC’s responsibility, PDC says it’s the venue’s responsibility!!”
Gurney had previously criticised the venue, saying: “Really disappointed with the playing conditions today in Rosmalen.
“The venue is freezing, and no consideration of the location for players.
“A bad decision on the PDC’s behalf and the players deserve better!!!”
SunSport has contacted Peter Manley and the PDPA for comment.
