The 4 Nations Face-Off wraps up on Thursday night with the championship game between the United States and Canada. The U.S. secured a 3-1 victory over the Canadians in round robin play — in a game not without its drama — and the rematch is sure to be more of the same.

While the rules of the 4 Nations Face-Off mostly follow the NHL, there are some differences in how overtime in the round robin works versus the title game. Where the round robin had a 10 minute period of three-on-three sudden death hockey followed by a shootout, the championship game is the same as the NHL playoff overtime with five-on-five hockey with 20-minute periods where the first team to score wins.

The championship game is set for Thursday night at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
