Shaheen Afridi gets brutally TROLLED by Bollywood star following attempt to deny Virat Kohli of century

India star batter Virat Kohli finally put aside his batting woes and completed his 82nd international century in the Champions Trophy clash against Pakistan. Kohli’s unbeaten knock of 100 runs from 111 deliveries guided the Men in Blue to the target of 242.

Kohli completed his ton with a boundary on the third delivery of the 43rd over by Khushdil Shah, which also turned out to be the winning runs for India.

However, it was Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi’s act in the 42nd over which garnered severe criticism from fans. The seamer bowled 3 wide deliveries when Kohli needed 13 runs to complete his century and India needed 17 runs to win the match.

The crowd in the stadium booed Shaheen for deliberately trying to deny Kohli a much-deserved hundred. Even Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal wasn’t impressed with the seamer’s act and trolled him for his lack of sportsmanship on his official X account.

“It was truly a great knock ! @imVkohli. Absolutely surreal to snatch the 51st century from the jaws of Shaheen Afridi’s Wide Balls!!!,” Rawal wrote on X.

However, despite Shaheen’s act, Kohli went on to complete a well-deserved century and even ended up scoring the winning runs for the Men in Blue to take them at the top of Group A with 4 points.
