Anand Rathi has given a sell recommendation for Asian Paints with a target price of Rs 2240, citing a significant market share loss to Birla Opus and reduced profit margins. In the latest quarter, Asian Paints reported a total income of Rs 8692.44 crore and a net profit of Rs 1078.61 crore.
