ST Game Recap: Diamondbacks 4, Guardians 3
Arizona ekes one out against Andrew Walters
The Diamondbacks triumphed over the Guardians 4-3, but it wasn't televised so it doesn't count. It's also February.
Here are some observations:
-Gabriel Arias and Kyle Manzardo crushed a couple home runs (116 and 107 mph, respectively). Arias may have an early lead in the second base competition.
-Micah Pries had a double and Jhonkensy Noel had a single. Noel also got called out on three strikes none of which appeared to be strikes on GameDay. He didn't go fishing so that's good.
-Joey Cantillo (3 K's) and Slade Cecconi (2 K's) looked good. Cantillo was sitting 91 mph with his fastball and Cecconi was sitting at 95.5 mph.

Slade Cecconi made his Guardians debut today!

It looks like Cecconi has made a few changes. Firstly, his arm angle is up slightly which caused his pitches to move differently

-Walters struggled but Tommy Mace and Aaron Davenport looked solid on StatCast to end the game, each striking out batters in their respective scoreless innings.
If Manzardo is gonna crush balls like he has been, the team has a decent shot at withstanding the Josh Naylor loss. We will see!
