Jonathan Van Ness Shows Off 66lb Body Transformation After Revealing They Were Taking Weight Loss Medication

Jonathan Van Ness is putting their weight loss on full display!

The 37-year-old Queer Eye star took to social media to share a before and after of their 66lb body transformation.

“Lost 66 pounds!” Jonathan captioned a side-by-side photo on Instagram story on Sunday (February 23).

Earlier this year, Jonathan opened up about taking weight loss medication GLP-1.

“With everything I’ve been through publicly and privately in the last couple years, I gained quite a bit of weight, wasn’t feeling good,” they said, seemingly in reference to a report saying that he was “abusive” and had “rage issues” on the set of Queer Eye. “The most important thing was, my binge-eating disorder was out of control.”

“I, for the first time in my life, got control over my food intake,” they shared. “It helped me so massively, and that’s part of why I wanna be honest with you about it because I know how important asking for help is, and how much asking for help can change your life in terms of healing.”

Recently, the cast of Queer Eye kicked off their The Fab Five Live tour, which is taking them to five cities across the US. The upcoming show in Los Angeles will also serve as a benefit for the SoCal Fire Fund, to raise money for those affected by the wildfires.
