Before that, at the 1974 National Seniors Open Championship, Mike Austin hit one 515 yards, but the hole was 2,000 feet above sea level and had a big helping wind.At the 2022 Mercedes Championship (Plantation Course, Kapalua, Hawaii), Tiger Woods hit a drive on the 18th hole that traveled 498 yards.
