Previously with the Warriors:
The Warriors tipped off their five-game road trip in spectacular fashion, rallying from a 17-point first half deficit to secure a 121-115 win over the Orlando Magic.
Orlando came out scorching from the field, shooting 15-of-18 in the first quarter, while the Warriors couldn’t buy a basket. However, that’s when Steph Curry, as he’s done countless times before, put the team on his back. He provided a spark just before halftime with a half-court buzzer-beater to trim the deficit to 14.

That was just the beginning. Curry erupted for 22 points in the third quarter, fueling Golden State’s comeback and giving them the lead to enter the fourth. The Warriors held strong all the way to the end as Curry finished the night with another masterpiece—dropping a season-high 56 points on 16-of-25 shooting, including 12-of-19 from deep and a perfect 12-of-12 from the line.
56 Points. 12 Threes.

What to watch for tonight:
The Warriors now turn their attention to a struggling 76ers squad that has lost nine straight games and went 1-10 in the month of February. The situation worsened on Friday when it was announced that All-NBA center Joel Embiid will miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Golden State is trending in the opposite direction. Winners of five straight, the Warriors have surged to 32-27, now tied with the Clippers for sixth in the Western Conference standings.
A major factor in their resurgence is Jimmy Butler. Since acquiring the All-Star forward, Golden State has gone 7-1. While he had a quiet night in Orlando (5 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists), his impact has been undeniable on both ends of the floor. Facing his former team in Philadelphia, expect Butler to be motivated for a strong bounce-back performance.
