Kristin Chenoweth Jokingly Predicts Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo's Oscars Performance, Wishes Them Luck

Kristin Chenoweth revealed what she is expecting to see from Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo when they take the stage at the 2025 Oscars on Sunday (March 2).

The Wicked costars were announced as surprise performers this week, and details about what they have planned are shrouded in secrecy.

However, on Saturday (March 1), Kristin hopped online to joke about what was to come.

On X (formerly Twitter), Kristin shared a video of herself lip syncing to Ariana and Cynthia‘s playful song about Wicked from an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November 2024.

“I’m a witch,” Cynthia sings, with Ariana adding, “And I’m a witch.”

“But which is which / Here’s the sitch / We were roommates back at school / Elfie’s awkward / Glinda’s cool,” they sang, trading off lines.

Kristin commented, “This is what I imagine Ari & Cynthia opening @TheAcademy awards tomorrow night is going to be like ????????.”

“In all seriousness, I’m sending my love to the whole @wickedmovie family at the #oscars!! Best of luck to them & to all of the nominees,” she added.

The musical director of the Oscars teased the performance earlier this week.
