Six records Arsenal broke in Champions League demolition of PSV as Gunners produce seven-star display

ARSENAL smashed six records as they produced a seven-star display against PSV last night.

Mikel Arteta’s men battered the Dutch kings 7-1 in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 clash in Eindhoven.

Before beating PSV, the Gunners cruised past Girona, Dinamo Zagreb, Monaco and Sporting Lisbon.

And they will be confident of extending that run to six in the return leg at the Emirates.

Finally, Nwaneri’s goal saw him become the third-youngest goal scorer in a Champions League knockout game at the age of 17 year and 384 days.

The record was set by Bojan Krkic when he netted for Barcelona in 2008 aged 17 years and 217 days.

And it saw Nwaneri fall in just behind Jude Bellingham, who scored for Borussia Dortmund in 2021 aged 17 years and 289 days.

Arsenal’s latest starlet was set up for his goal by fellow kid Myles Lewis-Skelly.

And it meant that two English teens had combined for a Champions League goal for the first time in the competition’s history.
