GAHANNA, Ohio (WCMH) – Gahanna's Creekside Jazz and Blues Festival is set to return this year.

The 26th event will take place from June 13 to 15 in the Creekside District. The festival will feature more than 30 local, regional and national jazz and blues performers, as well as family-friendly activities.

Food, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks will be available. Additionally, local artists will live paint murals along Creekside Plaza for the fourth year in a row.

“Over the past 26 years, the Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival has grown from a half-day event to mark the revitalization of downtown Gahanna, to a three-day celebration of music, food, community, and fun that draws tens of thousands from across Ohio and the U.S.,” said Lori Kappes, executive director of Visit Gahanna, the festival’s organizer. “We couldn’t be more excited to have it back again with so many incredible artists.”

Those interested in attending the festival can buy tickets online now or at the gate; however, purchasing online allows guests to save $5 on all tickets. Single-day passes purchased online cost $15 for adults and $10 for children 11-17. Weekend passes bought online are $30 for adults and $15 for children aged 11-17.

Kids under 10 can enter the festival for free when accompanied by a paid adult. Veterans who present a military ID also can also enjoy the event free of charge. Visit Gahanna is offering an additional $5 discount on all tickets bought online from now until April 1 when customers use the code “EARLYBIRD.”
