Travelling in train and bus for free? Sounds unrealistic. But it is true. Such facilities are available in almost all the countries of the world and we all know that we have to pay some money to travel by bus and train. But there is a country where you can travel by bus and train without any money.

This country, famous for its wealth, is a part of the continent of Europe. One can travel for free by bus and train in this country. Luxembourg has the highest GDP per capita in the European Union with €89 800, well above the EU average (€37 600). It accounts for 0.5% of the EU’s total GDP.

In 2024, the country was ranked by the IMF as having the highest GDP per capita in the world at $140,310 (PPP), with the city having developed into a banking and administrative centre. In the 2019 Mercer worldwide survey of 231 cities, it was placed first for personal safety, while it was ranked 18th for quality of living.
