Miller leads a mostly big-league squad in Surprise.
Today is lucky number thirteen of spring training games, and it will be Bryce Miller starting on the mound for the Seattle Mariners, opposite of Michael Lorenzen for the Kansas City Royals.

Today’s starting squad has the rare early-to-mid spring air of a lineup that you can easily see being one they run out most of the year. Well, some squinting might be needed for some names in the bottom half of the order.
After Bryce Miller makes the start, probable pitchers include Collin Snider, Tayler Saucedo, Gabe Speier, Brandyn Garcia, Trent Thornton, Andres Muñoz, Sauryn Lao.
I have to admit, there is something comforting about a Royals lineup with Salvador Perez in it.
After Lorenzen, probable pitchers for Kansas City include Kris Bubic, Chris Stratton, Lucas Erceg, Junior Fernández.
