A new material is created, named “char”, and its mechanical properties are diminished in comparison to the virgin material [1, 2]. Thus, in order to have a proper simulation of the phenomena leading to the diminution of mechanical properties, it is necessary to take into account the thermal degradation. This degradation depends on temperature and also on heat transfers taking place into the material.
