Millie Bobby Brown Reveals That Isn't Her Real Name

Millions of fans have gotten to watch Millie Bobby Brown grow up as she played Eleven on the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, but it seems she's been hiding a little secret this whole time. 

During a recent interview with BuzzFeed UK in conversation with Chris Pratt, Brown revealed that Millie Bobby Brown isn't actually her name at all. 

"My middle name is Bonnie, it's not Bobby," she said. "It's no Bobby, it's Millie Bonnie Brown. I've never told anyone that. You heard it here first." 

When Pratt asked her why she decided to change the name, she explained that it was simply for "s--ts and giggles." 

Brown's father's name is Bobby, making her "stage name" an homage to him. 

Brown is currently on the press circuit promoting her new film, The Electric State, a sci-fi adventure comedy that's set to debut on Netflix on March 14. She also recently grabbed headlines after calling out the press and others on social media for constant criticism of her appearance. Her statement event elicited an apology from one comedian, who said he hadn't meant to offend her.
